Sometimes you want to add everyone in a particular company in Salesforce to your subscriber list in Campaign Monitor. The easiest way would be placing a button on your Salesforce Account detail page as in the following screenshot:
With Connector for Salesforce + Campaign Monitor, you can do exactly this. First, in your Salesforce org, navigate to Setup > App Setup > Customize > Accounts > Page Layouts. From this screen, click the Edit button next to the page layout you want to add the button for.
Now, if you're not a Salesforce guru, you may not have added any button in a related list (another big Salesforce terminology) in a page layout before. Well, there's a first time for everything. Here is how to do it:
Yes, that's where it was hidden. Click the wrench button for the Contacts related list, and click the [+] sign in the bottom that has the label "Buttons". This will bring up the (literally) hidden section for the buttons, where you can select the "Add to Subscriber List" button, which comes with the Connector's package.
Click OK and then don't forget to click Save on the page layout editor itself!
Come back to a normal Account page by selecting any account record in your Salesforce app. Now you will notice that you have the "Add to Subscriber List" button in your Contacts related list. Click that button, and you will see something similar to this:
Of course, the items listed in the select box should be the subscriber lists you have in your Campaign Monitor app. In case you didn't already know, this is the same button as the one you should have in your Contacts list views:
